Conversations: Parents of Adults with Down syndrome
Today we will be joined by staff from By Their Side. This organization works with Marylanders with intellectual/developmental disabilities and their families to make sure their wishes are addressed. They provide advocacy for health, safety, rights, and happiness, even when parents can no longer be there. They work in partnership with each person and their family and/or trustee.
